🚗 If you are coming by a car you have to know that the Croatian highway is the fastest way to get from one place to another. The A1 highway goes from Zagreb to Split, and you will need to exit on the Exit “Šibenik”. The drive from the highway exit to the ferry port takes you about 15 minutes. In case you have some free time before the ferry departure, we strongly recommend visiting the city of Šibenik and its attractions: St. Michael and Barone Fortress, historic city center where you will find UNESCO protected Cathedral of Saint James, and a multiple of charming little streets and cafe spots.
🚌 City of Šibenik has a bus station and it is very well connected with other Croatian and foreign cities, especially during the season. In case you don’t have direct line to Šibenik, check if the bus from your city goes to Zagreb, Pula, Zadar or Split, from where you could take a bus to Šibenik. Šibenik’s bus station is 2 min away by foot from the ferry.
✈️ The closest airports to Šibenik are Zadar airport and Split airport, both 70km away from Šibenik. From them you can get by bus, rent-a-car or taxi to Šibenik and then catch a ferry to Žirje.
